Sanjay Lavakare transitioned from a 16-year IT career to dedicating himself fully to painting. His recent artwork is inspired by the distinct aspects of Koramangala, influenced by conversations with local residents. Previously part of Bangalore's IT industry, the retired engineer discovered his true passion for art. Despite being offered a sabbatical by his company, Sanjay chose to pursue art as a full-time endeavor. He shares that he has been a regular exhibitor at the Chithra Santhe annually. Sanjay discusses his latest piece that captures the spirit of Koramangala. With input from neighbors in L Street, such as Ashish and Ritu, he incorporated 50-60 unique elements characteristic of the neighborhood into the painting. While some elements are easily recognizable, others require a bit of guessing.
